Product Update: Introducing Slash Commands
August 19, 2016 | Customer Experience, Product Update
Use “/” commands to enhance Agent Productivity
Now your agents can do a whole range of activities right from within the Agent Messaging Interface: adding Notes, creating Salesforce Leads - all with a simple slash command!

A summary of our Slash commands:
/note - create a note only visible to you and your team in the Messaging history. Everything you enter after the /note command is added as a Note.

/tag - tag an interaction with a designation for reporting purposes.

/outcome - assign an outcome to an interaction from within the Messaging dialog box.

/feedback - agents can now send us feedback with a simple slash command - we gather your message and context and pipe it directly to our support and development teams; making issues, comments and feature requests flow freely from end-users right to us.

/remind - remind yourself to follow up with a customer or colleague. Set the reminder and Altobot will remind you when the time comes around.

/transfer an interaction to a colleague or another team. A customer asks you a support question but you're on the sales team; no problem - transfer them directly to the Support Team's queue.

/sf lead | campaign - create a Salesforce Lead from a customer profile or attribute a customer interaction to a specific Salesforce Campaign right from within the Messaging interface. Admins can specify the fields exchanged and provide default values. Campaign attribution can be derived from UTM parameters gathered from the context of the customer visit. This gives you a direct line of sight from the Outbound marketing campaign through to the customer’s Web Visit and all the way to your Agent Interaction whether it’s Messaging or Voice.

We’ll be adding even more Slash commands to our Agent interface in the coming iterations - we’ll keep you posted right here! Sign up to our newsletter (top right-hand corner) or reach out to the team here to organize a trial or a demo.
