A New Journey Begins
May the wind be always at your back.
This a traditional Irish blessing for someone beginning a journey. As I set off on a new journey today, I carry those hopes with me, knowing that the road ahead will be filled with twists, turns, potholes and barricades. This morning we announced our new company Altocloud. In my journey up to now I have led some large divisions for Cisco, I have been involved in the acquisition of some great tech companies like WebEx and have been an active angel investor in startups in California and Ireland. I’ve even been a ‘Dragon’ investor on TV’s Dragons’ Den, Ireland’s version of Shark Tank. As I set off on this new journey, I am confident because I am not traveling alone. An amazing team has formed between Ireland and California and I am proud to be part of it.
