We are looking for a Channel Manager to drive business in the Cisco channel and enable the Cisco field sales and partners. The role combines technical knowledge and people skills in a rewarding and rapidly growing organization. The Channel Manager is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with Sales as technical advisors and advocates for the company's products. The Cisco Channel Manager must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical audiences.

The Cisco Channel Manager at Altocloud drives new business as the primary technical sales resource who is responsible for managing new and existing customer opportunities and helping to close them. The role is vital to driving successful customer experience outcomes from early customer conversations including Cisco and Cisco Partners to deploying Altocloud Solutions.

This person is responsible for communicating and collaborating between the development, sales, and solution management teams to create cohesive technology outcomes for our end-users.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 3 years in a technical sales or implementation role working with Cisco Contact Center technology solutions for business-to-business sales, should be well-versed in technology and sales support, familiar with project management, and have a demonstrated knowledge of contact center and information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Prospecting with Cisco Channel Partners to identify new customer opportunities
• Building and managing a pipeline of sales opportunities with Cisco Channel Partners
• Providing technical sales support to Cisco Channel Partners including demos, RFPs, price quotes
• Participating in customer discovery meetings
• Training for Cisco Channel Partners for sales enablement
• Configuring demo systems for Cisco Channel Partners
• Resolving major escalated on-site support incidents

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Four-year technical degree (B.S. or B.A.)
• 3 to 5 years of prior technical sales experience a must
• Prior experience with software-as-a-service model is beneficial
• Cisco Contact Center (UCCE/UCCX) and Collaboration products experience (experience with Cisco Spark is beneficial)
• Demonstrated knowledge of information systems and technology infrastructures
• Requires a flexible work and travel schedule (~50% travel)
• Well-versed in technology and project management
• Proven business development experience
• Experience working in an indirect channel sales environment
• Desire to learn and grow quickly with the company and technology
• Existing relationships with Cisco and Cisco partners
• Display a high-level of critical thinking and problem-solving
