Late in 2016 the Data#3 team began looking at ways they could better understand who was using their new Customer Portal and how to engage with them more effectively. The Data#3 Customer Portal offers a personalized, convenient and intuitive self-service capability that delivers accurate and timely information when customers need it.
The Data#3 Customer Portal allows customers to access hardware and software information and pricing without the need to send an email enquiry or call us on the phone. Customers can also view quotes generated by Data#3 in one central location.
Elijah Lambert, Head of Customer Success found Altocloud through a google search and signed up for a trial evaluation. Upon realizing the integration capabilities between Cisco Spark and Altocloud, his team was up and running quickly. After a two week evaluation of the solution a purchase decision was made to deploy into production.
“The integration of both tools really gives my team an inside look in real-time to who is on our new Portal and allows them to engage in the right away with the highest priority customer requests” says Lambert.
Moving forward, Elijah is excited about the possibilities of scaling this use case across a wider range of functions at Data#3. “We really see a lot of new ways we can combine Altocloud with Cisco Spark to take our customer engagement efforts to the next level. As different departments adopt and use Spark on a daily basis, we can leverage the Altocloud integration for increased engagement across Investor Relation, HR, Marketing, and many more.
